We’ve got everyone talking

I have nothing but praise for the Extension Method™. Is it effective? Yes! It is challenging? Yes, but this is the challenge you will love. Does it make you feel fantastic, fit and graceful- dare I say it?- as a ballerina? Yes! What parts of the body does it improve? What muscles does it develop? It is easier to say which it does NOT make stronger, lighter, more flexible. I have been attending Allegro Ballet on and off for six months, and my arms and shoulders look beautiful and toned, my abs and calves are much stronger, which I notice a lot while going about my daily routines. I also developed an uncontrollable urge to do tendus and releves while washing the dishes! Another wonderful thing about classes at the Extension Room is that they are never dull.

I am yet to get bored during class, because there is always some new move to learn (which Jenn makes look so easy!) and some new muscle to work on!

The Extension Method™ has sculpted and toned my body in very noticeable ways – i have had many comments on how sculpted my arms are – and they are always surprised to hear most of it came from just holding them up in the air doing ballet !! It has given me back my balance and some coordination I never knew I had !! which I lost I thought completely after the birth of my second son.

What I have enjoyed most about Jenn’s classes is her spirit as a teacher – she inspires you through her personality and interpersonal skills – making it not just a class to exercise your body but also one for you spirit – where the joy of moving your body and dancing is combined with great music which uplifts and inspires your soul…

I went to my third ballet bootcamp class at the Extension Room today & I feel amazing! I remember the first day I walked into the studio I felt a mixture of anxiety & excitement. I hadn’t taken a ballet class since I was 12 and didn’t think I would be able to keep up. But halfway through my first class, even though my muscles & lungs were burning, I found that I was loving every minute of it. I felt more alive than I had in a really long time.

I’ve come a long way in such a short period of time. I feel like I’m regaining the stamina & balance I thought I’d lost forever. Today, for the first time in a long time I was able to do a pirouette without losing my footing & it felt awesome:) Now I just need to work on my flexibility.

Jenn always has a smile on her face & her bubbly personality makes her classes so enjoyable. I feel comfortable & this encourages me to really push myself. The Extension Room has restored my love for dance & I couldn’t be happier!

I love the Extension Method™ because each class feels like an hour long dance performance. This keeps me motivated as I would like my next performance to be better than my last. I love the results that I see from taking the classes, like strong and toned legs and arms, a strong core and improved stamina. These results have also helped me in other activities, such as downhill and cross country skiiing and bike riding.

I have also noticed that I have better posture, more grace in my movements and the added bonus of random toe pointing. Not to mention the Extension Method™ has introduced a whole new set of moves to my repertoire for dance parties with friends!

I love the Extension Room classes. I have only taken 5 classes, but every time I go I feel like I am in a movie, it is almost dream like. I think the classes are a lot of fun, so you don’t feel that you are working out.

I ABSOLUTELY love the Extension Method™ classes because health/exercise is an extremely important part of my life and I have yet to find a more challenging and fun way to work out than with Jennifer! I grew up dancing but stopped at 13 years old so having lost some of my co-ordination and dance ability, the Extension Method™ classes allow me to enjoy the art of dance without the stress of intensive choreography! Plus, my core is way more toned than it’s ever been since starting the classes.

Since I’ve started taking the Extension Method™ I’ve noticed my body become more flexible, more agile, more graceful. I’ve toned and shaped my mid-section, arms and legs. It helps my posture and the way I carry myself. I feel I’m in a better mood after each class, I feel more in tune with my body and I feel so much better!

I love the Extension Method™ and in particular, the Allegro Ballet Bootcamp class. My friend Jessica and I have been coming once (sometimes twice!) a week and we feel stronger, slimmer and ready to tackle the world with our dance moves. Jenn is a wonderful teacher but more than that, she’s a friendly, compassionate person whose smiling face somehow makes the jumping and the sweating a pleasant experience. Dancing isn’t just about the perfect arabesque (though you’ll learn that with Jenn!), it’s about having fun and feeling good and moving your body in new and challenging ways. That you’re listening to great music while you do it, ain’t bad either.

I tried a class at the Extension Room, one of the best decisions I made all year. Jenn helped me feel completely comfortable and welcome from the first moment. She is incredibly gifted, skilled and professional with a sincere and unbiased approach. Jenn and her beautiful studio environment make for an ideal setting to develop, it’s where I’m reminded why dance is so good for the body, mind and soul.

I’ve been taking Extension Method™ classes for awhile now. My balance and posture have improved, as well as my overall strength. The Extension Method™ has improved my performance in different sports as well as dance. I’ve noticed improvements in snowboarding and being able to bridge on only one foot is beneficial in jiu jitsu. More importantly, the Extension Method™ classes are fun, a workout you’ll always look forward to!
